All participants will be able to prepare a Job Breakdown and effectively train others to perform a job. This skill in training will reduce training time; reduce scrap and rework, resulting in fewer accidents and increase job satisfaction. The use of JI helps to achieve standard work, stable processes and continuous improvement.

Course objective

  • Stabilise and standardise work methods by training workers how to quickly remember how to perform tasks correctly, safely and conscientiously
  • Present a method of delivering an effective and confident training session.
  • Participants ‘learn by doing’ and practice their skills delivering training sessions in the classroom/workplace

Requirements for completion of course

  • Demonstrate a 5 minute training session.
  • 100% attendance
  • Participation in group activities and discussions.
